Photography--Nature's Alphabet Through the Lens
Saturdays: 5/25, 6/1, 6/8, 6/15, 6/22 
10 AM-12 PM

Ages 10+ 

Nature holds many surprises and we will seek to discover some of them in this 5-week outdoor exploration photography workshop. The first four weeks students will be introduced to a composition principles in a classroom setting and the remainder of the time will be spent in the field taking pictures. Feedback will be provided for the students as they take pictures. The fifth workshop will be used for completing the books.


The goal will be to help the students better understand composition principles and to think outside the box while taking photographs to complete an alphabet book. And, of course to have fun! Supplies will be provided to bind and create a handmade book with mounted photos.

Two Options:


1. Workshop only: $100

2. Workshop + digital SLR camera (student will be able to keep the camera at the conclusion of the workshop.) $300

Math and science foundations for big kids, ages 8-12. Games and exercise to strengthen core math skills, projects, labs and demonstrations to explore physical science and understand the scientific method. $200 for 13 weeks. Kids' History, 2018-19

Story Adventure Club
Tuesdays, 1:30-3:30 PM

Ages 7-9. Imaginative play, handicrafts and art projects based on history-rich stories will be the backbone of this weekly class hosted for children ages 7-9. The primary emphasis will be hands-on arts and crafts with poetry, food, music and all of the beauty of a culture intermixed. Children should bring a journal or notebook each week as we will be doing simple copywork as well as adding photos, sketches etc. Every four weeks a new area of study will be introduced and explored for the following four weeks. $150/semester

Deep Roots Nature Club

Through games, observations, sit spots, and nature journaling, students and families will gain deep connections with the earth, themselves, and each other. The Wasatch Independent Debate League is preparing for another fantastic year of bringing great Speech and Debate classes and tournaments to the homeschooling community, and we would love for you to get involved!

Registration is now open for Speech and Debate classes which teach critical thinking, research skills, writing, presentation, current events, philosophy, and organized thinking.
